Object Description

Per David P. Becker (March 2010): Although Vallotton & Goerg identify the technique as drypoint, at least the majority is etched. Printed posthumously, from numbered edition of 30 impressions. Related to oil painting from the same year of same boy in front view. Vallotton & Goerg identify that painting with “Portrait of My Concierge’s Son” in artist’s 1889 listing.
