Object Description

Per David P. Becker (January 2010): Plate from John Ogilby’s edition of Virgil: The Works of Publius Virgilius Maro (London: 1654); it is difficult to determine the state or edition of this impression, because the bottom inscriptions have been trimmed. The letterpress is different from the other BCMA impression, however (2009.16.470).
