four-tiered medicine box showing Kintaro fighting a wild boar with child in a cage on one side; 3 compartments with lid; cornelian slide and carved wooden netsuke (now missing) used to prevent its slipping through the girdle

[current netsuke on display with this piece is 1958.61.10]
