(Pomarance, Italy, ca. 1553 - 1626, Rome, Italy)

Note: As a young man, he worked in Florence and Siena. He later established a career in Rome, first collaborating with Niccolò Circignani, who was also called Il Pomarancio (from the name of their home town) on a fresco cycle depicting the Discovery and Exaltation of the True Cross. Italian painter.
